My experience with Alhambra has been EXCELLENT! The staff at this facility have been soooo helpful and easy to deal with. They take such great care of my father and do it with a loving heart.

My husband is currently at Alhambra Post Acute and he has nothing but praise for the staff and facility. Special shout out to Georgina for her awesome service. He really likes his PT and OT therapists and appreciates their care and professionalism.

I want to thank Alhambra for the care of our mother. We have been caring for her for the last 7 years but her decline with Alzheimers brought her here. I want to thank the staff for all their efforts and help. We come 4-5 days a week and are able to spend time and chat with other residents. This is not an easy feat for the staff. I want to give a special shout out to Nancy, the events coordinator for putting on a wonderful valentine’s event for the families and residents. Coordinating and directing the residents into the room (herding cats 😅) providing food and games. She worked so hard! As did her helpers. There were hurdles to get over but she did it! Thank you Nancy and Alhambra!

Alhambra Post Acute exceeded every expectation. From the moment I walked in, the facility was clean, welcoming, and professionally run. The staff was attentive, compassionate, and genuinely cared about the residents. Nursing seemed responsive, therapy was strong, and communication with family has been consistent and transparent. What stood out most was the teamwork and positive culture—you can tell the staff take pride in what they do!! Residents there are treated with dignity and respect, and leadership is clearly engaged and present. I would absolutely recommend Alhambra Post Acute to anyone looking for quality post-acute care. Truly a 5-star place and team!!

Their website says a patient can receive IV pain med but when asked they said don’t do that even though they do IV antibiotics. I looked at multiple sources and they all say I can receive it. But I’m being denied it, only being given oral meds that barely work. I’m not wanting to get anyone in trouble but what the hell? Website says one thing and I’m being told another thing and then being told another thing, like what am I supposed to do, just suffer in pain or do I have to make a case? Because I will if I have to

Alhambra Post Acute provided our family member with great quality care. They always communicated what was going on with her care plan & addressed any concerns that we had within a timely manner. The staff was pleasant, professional and their dedication to healthcare shows in the work & care they gave.

Very poor quality nursing facility that has zero concern for patients and their families. Do not recommend!

My Mom is in this facility and this is her second placement so I actually have something to compare it to. We started off on the good note, but 2 months in I have grown frustrated with this organization. My has has a history of diabetes but they did not think to give her blood sugar testing. If they had reviewed any of her medical history they might have thought it was a good idea to do so. My Mom’s Blood Sugar was at the dangerous level high and we hand to bring it to their attention that she was displaying confusion and other symptoms that I later found out could be signs. However, they had not check on her because she did not need anything so they did not catch that she was acting unusual. The food is not even tolerable my Mom can barely stomach their food which means we spend a lot of money bringing her food which meals are apart of their payment from Medicare. The parking is 4 spaces and the employees park in those. The building is on a hill, so when you take your love one out on a visit when you bring them back hopefully you are strong enough to push them up hill in a wheel chair. The place is old and sometimes the smell when one walks in the door is repulsive. Be sure to keep track of your love ones items because clothes and diapers come up missing especially if you bring the pull-up kind that is not provided. The lack of responsiveness is unprofessional, and if one has their Parent in a facility and they have to work one wants to feel at ease somewhat. One should feel confident that the facility is giving good care, but I am not feeling this way. I could go on and on but I will not. I will mention that there’s better places and I where you I would be sure to check around. I would not recommend this place if you have any expectations that your loved one is well taken care of. They also have a staff shortage. I am giving 2 stars because my Mom has a bed to sleep in and they give her a shower 2x’s a week, they have provided transportation to her appointments. My Mom said, “not only is the food horrible, but it is rationed” they give her a half of a banana. Oh lastly she did fall was she was there and she is a huge fall risk they should have assessed that immediately, however it wasn’t until she fell that they started to pay attention to her a little more. So she had to act erratic to get diabetes care and she had to fall to appropriate attention and physical therapy that was geared towards her improving her gait in order to leave the facility one day.

Post acute rehabilitation & Quality healthcare. Welcoming a family like experience. Friendly and attentive staff. Though the building is older with little parking spaces, you will receive excellent care from skilled and knowledgable staff.

This facility should be shut down the care here is absolutely horrible. My brother suffered from a stroke that has left him paralyzed on the right and unable to speak. Below. Are pictures of him with his feeding tube. That is also his main supply for his medication left unattended to. The port has been left unattended to leak all over him where he is soiled, shows me that he has not received his medication, timely or they would’ve noticed that the port has been leaking, and the food is now clumpy from it sitting for so long. Not to mention he was left in a soiled diaper sitting in stool in urine for long periods of time. The staff openly discuss having drinks and that the work is a lot. The CNA‘s are under trained and don’t have the necessary skill set to care for some of the patients and their medical needs. the nurse Sue should be fired immediately and I will see to it that she is reprimanded for her unprofessional work ethic and behavior in that medical setting.
